"Spacious, comfortable well-located condo"

We enjoyed this stylish and very comfortable condo, well-located within walking distance between Vail Village and Lion's Head (but also on the convenient in-town shuttle). The 3 bedrooms and wireless were a plus with 3 teenagers. The off-street parking was also a plus. The kitchen was reasonable, but had an inadequate supply of plates and glasses. The entry did not have adequate room for skis and boots. There were a few areas of disrepair and minor plumbing issues, but overall the condo was in good shape. Surprisingly, there was no cleaning service during a 4 night stay. Overall, we would rate it highly, based on location, comfort and value---and would return again.

With regard to the housekeeping, we provide a free mid-week clean on stays of 5 nights or more, so you would not receive one with a 4 night stay unless requested. We will do a complete inventory of the kitchen and update any plates and glasses that are needed. We hope to see you again in the Vail Valley.

A wonderful condo with plenty of space (3 bedroom and 2 full baths). Very close to a bus stop, responsive management staff. Huge TV!! Washer and dryer was a nice touch...looking forward to staying there again in the future.






"fantastic condo in a great location"

We stayed at the Skaal Haus #3 in March 2010. We were a group of 5 people, all 25-30 years old. Overall, the condo exceeded our expectations! It was spacious and well appointed, with a lovely flat screen TV, gorgeous appliances and plenty of cookware and dishes. The beds were comfortable enough, but not as nice as most hotel beds these days. The location was fantastic. We were equal distance from Lionshead and Vail Village (though probably a smidge closer to the gondola than the Vista Bahn chair). The stop for the free town shuttle is right at the corner so there was an easy ride when we didn't want to make the 6 minute walk. Overall the booking process was very easy and the Prudential people were very responsive. I would suggest providing an auxiliary jack for the stereo system as most people have mp3 players now and it would have been nice to play our own music. It was great to have laundry on the premises and the heated floors in the bathroom were a real plus. The condo was nicer than the pictures would suggest and we were pleasantly surprised--which so rarely happens on vacation.

Condo was exactly what we were looking for. Large kitchen / living room, clean. Bus stop right in front of condo. Would definitely stay there again. Only down-side is there is no hot tub. residents have access to a pool/spa but is a short walk away.

Great location between Vail and Lionshead. Great price for a decent 3-bedroom. Small-ish, but not uncomfortable. Would stay there again for sure. Vail Prudential, the rental management company was outstanding. Communicated very, very well and helped with a couple things they were not at all obligated to help with. Recommended.
