"Great place to stay between groomer runs at Vail"

This West Vail home is well appointed with comfortable furniture and, in this era, a good wireless service. The floor plan is interesting, multi-level, and well designed. The master bedroom is large, comfortable, and quiet. The other two bedrooms, a half-floor down are functional with a shared bath. The large hallway in between these bedrooms is actually a pretty good TV room with a high-end, pull out sofa bed.
The kitchen, dining room, family room are all one Great Room with a great stone hearth gas fireplace that kicks out a lot of warmth. Noise from nearby I70 seems to swoosh over the angled roof, so although its only 100 yards away, its quiet inside. The bus stop is about 300 yards away, but the bus only comes by every 30 minutes, so its not as convenient as I initially thought. Its a few miles into Vail, so walking is not a readily available option in the winter, but a nice walking/biking trail is just outside the front door. Plenty of parking, plus a garage for a mid-size, small SUV. We had a challenge fitting our big SUV rental into the garage. Overall a great place, that we'd considering for a return visit.

Everything just worked; from the reservations to the instructive emails to having a contact when we had a question. The condo was well appointed and comfortable. Being someone who likes to cook having spices, condiments and the proper supplies made me feel more at home than in a rental unit.I typically like to stay in West Vail which is close to the mountain, on a very convenient bus route(the stop is very close)and major grocery shopping is just across the highway. For the time of year that I was there it was an exceptionally good value. This was may second stay at Casa Del Sol booked with Prudential and I fully recommend it.
